It’s been years since I decorated my bedroom for Christmas….I usually decorate my children’s but this time around I wanted to treat myself and my husband….
The tones I used in here are so neutral that it will easily transition into after Christmas and winter.
I made this paper scroll art “Merry and Bright” with some vinyl lettering…and attached it with a bit of tape and metal wire. I kept my magnolia wreath up…it’s been one of my favorite finds ever. I love the shiplap accent piece it goes on. It’s actually a faux….I painted this frame white inside and added some horizontal lines with a pencil…so easy!
I kept most of what I already had in my room as I like to keep it simple yet practical because next to our kitchen and living rooms our bedroom is the hang out spot for our children, where I often find little ones snuggled in our bed watching television…I don’t mind really…as long as they are clean and crumb free, lol. Ps…that’s kind of wishful thinking am I right? Ha ha ha…
Added and rearranged a few extra pillows…
This little tray table came with our bed set! Can you believe that?! It’s so fun…a cup of hot cocoa in a “S”anta mug and Danish Peppernut cookies for a little treat. Cuz…who doesn’t want crumbs in their bed? I know I’m going to miss that someday… when my wee ones are all grown up….crazy to think.
Added some little teahouse lights to create a cozy holiday mood..
Of course the fresh greenery garland made its way into this room…..I have LOVED it!
Thank you so much for joining me for my tiny little tour of my bedroom…
You know, some people might think decorating a bedroom for Christmas is silly ….but I have got to tell you, set those thoughts aside…because if you love Christmas…you will love a decorated room..I promise!
Merry Christmas!
