A Thanksgiving Tablesetting

It’s thanksgiving next week and I’m all excited for it! My inlaws will be hosting this year and I’ve been asked to bring a few things to do. Before that though I wanted to make up a little thanksgiving table setting for me and my little family, in honor of my homemade pumpkin pie. My little ones where oh so excited when I pulled this pretty thing out of the oven, and so was their dad…it need a bit of celebration… lol

I mostly used things from around the house that I had already from my fall decor. “Shop your space” is one of the fun things you can do to get a new look and do it for…well…0$. And that’s my kind of decorating !

The recipe for this yummy pie is none other than the famous Libbys…it really is the best…and is oh so easy to make. I highly recommend it if you are a newbie to pie making…

I used a few eucalyptus sprigs of greenery from Hobby Lobby for my natural element. makes a great backdrop for some whit pumpkins.

Me Turkey…a decor item that I stumbled across many years ago. I love him! And I love to invite his friends over for dinner…lol. I love mixing him in the bunch to add some texture. Mixing metallics and greenery it really makes it prettier and adds dimension to the table.

The pop of blue in this makes my heart oh so happy! An old Antique Asian vase. It fun to add unexpected elements to this centerpiece. It goes along perfectly with the blue goblets, those are very old. Passed down to me from my parents and their parents. From the 20’s maybe? Love them!

I used my DIY Galvanized Plate Chargers for this setting…

Well, it’s a simple table setting but I sure did enjoy making i up. My kids kept asking..”who’s coming over for dinner?”… my reply was “no one, just us..cuz we are special too”. 💗 Than we proceeded to eat our pie…yum!

Thanks for stopping by!
